All children are a gift from God and will be treated with love and respect. We provide a place where children are physically safe, emotionally secure and offer developmentally-appropriate learning opportunities. What We Do ... The primary job of a child is to play, and by doing so learn about themselves and their world. We support pre-reading and school readiness skills in all developmental domains, including social-emotional, cognitive, and large and small muscle coordination. We offer a variety of multi-sensory experiences through stories and book time, art and music, active outdoor play and quiet time. Our Talented Staff ... All our staff are certified in CPR and INFANT/CHILD FIRST AID. They are required to complete 12 hours of continuing education and training each year. All staff are screened thoroughly and background checks are made. About Discipline ... We discuss problem behavior with our children. If necessary, a child may be disciplined by being temporarily separated from the other children into time-out. However, the child will never be away from the care of a teacher. If problems persist, we may confer with the parent to seek information and solutions. |
