Krusin' the Capitol

By Nebraska State Senator Lowen Kruse

2004
Campaign Bonus
April 14, 2004

Hi

This is not a newsletter, so those of you plugged in for that reason can ignore it. I cannot separate the ones who are in my legislative district, or who may be interested in my campaign this year.

If you would like to help in the campaign, please let me know. The Primary is May 11 and we are trying to get a few things done previous to that.

What can help.
If you are in the district, we will provide yard signs for those who ask. We will put the signs out on April 24, weather permitting, or that week following. We will pick up the signs, to store for Fall, on May 12, the day after the Primary. Let me know if you will take a sign.

Can use help putting signs out, or taking them up. Will put out about 200. Am placing very few on roads and streets this time around.

I will do the lit drop myself. Hope to get around to the homes of all who are new to the district, this spring. Will do most of the others in the fall.

Several of you have offered to have the neighbors in for a living room get acquainted. Probably do that in late summer and September. Let me know what will work.

Several have already helped with the finances and that is welcome! It costs $3,000 to mail a newsletter, limiting it to persons who have recently voted. I like to cover some of the more difficult issues, so that folks can understand what is behind the decisions that are made. And can add their comments.

Thanks for all the support I have received, in so many ways! It is really appreciated. The best thing that all of us can do is to talk with neighbors and friends about the issues and the importance of being informed and voting. People have given their lives for our right to vote. It troubles me whenever someone thinks voting is optional.

Cheers

Lowen
