Evening Stars are on Monday, July 9^th at 7:00 p.m.. Meeting at Carolyn Hempfling's house (572-8706).

Morning Glories will meet Tuesday, July 10^th at 9:30 a.m..

Developing Women's Leadership Skills. Joyce Sohl will present a one-day seminar on Saturday, August 11^th from 10:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. at Trinity United Methodist Church. 1345 S. 16^th St. in Lincoln. The $7.00 registration cost covers the meal and materials. Please register by August 3 by contacting Mary Ann Bede. 8001 South St., Lincoln.

Ice Cream Social

Thursday, July 19, 5 p.m.-7 p.m.

Every one come and enjoy a break from the heat with Ice Cream, Cakes, Pies, Sloppy Joes and Hot dogs at the UMW Ice Cream Social. YUM!

MENU

Thank you to all those who came out for the UMW picnic. In spite of the heat a good time of fellowship was had. Young and old enjoyed the water gun fights (ed note: Especially the "Soak The Preacher Show") and also very good food provided by all.

We are looking forward to the Ice Cream Social coming in July. We always enjoy the fun of making the Ice Cream on Wednesday night and the good desserts on Thursday. We will be calling for cakes and pies. We will also be serving Sloppy Joes and Hot Dogs so come for supper from 5:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m..
