Olive Branch Newsletter For August 2001

Good News: We are looking forward to using new videos provided by funds form the Douglas County Health Dept. We also have stretch bands and light weights. Come and s tretch with us every Wednesday morning at 11:00 a.m. We hope to have an "impact" by stretching our muscles and joints and keeping them moving. Exercise tapes are available in the library. Ask Carolyn Faulhaber or Barbara Hansen for help.

Bad News: Douglas County has cancelled their support of Health Fairs and so it would cost us $8.95 per person plus $200 for the nurses to come out and do blood and cholesterol tests. So right now it looks like the Health Fair we were planning for September 22 is canceled. We are very sorry, but we don't think we can find the money. We will keep exploring options, but we only found out about this just before the office was printing this so don't have any other options yet.
