Bridge Builders Bike Ride
Saturday: June 22, 2002, 8:00 a.m. Starting at the Walton Trail Company.
Our program of Restorative Justice in prison ministry centers around The Followers of Christ Church congregations at the Nebraska State Penitentiary. I am also working with Pastor Bud Christensen in the transitional program called "The Bridge" assisting ex-felons in their re-entry back into the community. The "Bridge Builders Bike Ride" needs volunteers, donations and just good old-fashioned cheering on.

Numb stands for Nebraska United Methodist Bike Ride for Hunger. In its six year history, NUMB has contributed over $150,000 to the cause of feeding the hunger of the world.

So if you're thinking about a home improvement project, and want to save money at the same time, let the Omaha Habitat ReStore help you. There are plenty of new and used building materials such as cabinets, light fixtures, 18"X18" carpet squares, toilets, sinks, windows, doors, paint, etc. Inventory changes daily. The ReStore is open to the public. All proceeds support the Habitat For Humaity's building efforts in the Omaha area. Donations of usable building materials are welcome.
Store Hours: Monday-Friday 10 a.m. - 5 p.m. and & Saturday 9 a.m. - 3p.m.
