If you would like to support the United Methodist Committee on Relief’s Coffee Project by purchasing Equal Exchange fairly traded coffee, tea, or cocoa, just write "Coffee" on an offering envelope and include it on the offering plate. You may also give it to Rev. Michael or Gabbie in the church office.

Sorry, no online or mail orders. You must come to church to buy coffee here. We are not in competition with the people who make a living selling these products. We are selling them at our cost as a ministry outreach.

You'll have to head over to your local library to read this one, since it's in print rather than online. But this is a fine overview of the coffee crisis. The article mentions fairly traded coffee, but the primary focus is on the "big picture" of the global coffee market.
